One Flower

4 perspectives...

The bottom left one is the SOOC (Straight Out Of Camera). I've been getting a lot of flowers recently what with my birthday, our anniversary or, shock horror, just because. I get all excited because I get to take photos LOL
Last week, Albert came home with these...Some info

They are really cool and as soon as I got them out came the camera. Then I realized they perfectly matched a t.shirt I had just bought, which quickly provided the backdrop!
I took these with my 'poor man's macro', a Nikon close up lens attachment, it is a pretty good little add on for a fraction of the cost of a real macro lens (which I will get one day, but not priority right now as I don't do too much macro stuff). Here are some more...

I really like this one...
"To see a world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wild flower. Hold infinity in the palms of your hand and eternity in an hour" - William Blake.

Flowers are beautiful...

"I like it when a flower or a little tuft of grass grows through a crack in the concrete. It's so f**kin' heroic" - George Carlin.

Sealed with a kiss!

That's what this session was sealed with a few weeks back...

We had so much fun, the kids were great helpers and patient too because you really do often have a time limit when it comes to kids! What a smile :o)

This one has to be one of my all time favs. There is a real film feel to it, I can't explain it any better than that (Other photographers will maybe know what I'm talking about)! It is Black and White, minimally processed and just timeless...

But N still rocks in colour :o)

Fun? We had a bit!

A sweet family shot.

Dad is going to get a great gift. Mum Caroline said it is fine for me to post this blog now since Dad doesn't do blogs/fb/etc. Where on earth do you get that these days? That's great! heeee heee! So, keep it hush hush if you know him!

Spring is in the air...

Or is it? It's been a weird year on this sub-tropical island. I think we are getting more of the sub rather than the tropical. Some days I have felt more like I am in London than Okinawa.
Anyway, here is a little collage to try and kick start some blue skies here!

I have some more sessions to post, some night shoot images and some flowers!

Whose world is this?...

The world is yours. The world is yours!
Here's another sneak peek from a recent family session. Claire's oldest is off to chase dreams so I thought this image and the blog title was very fitting!

Claire will be here with her very cute youngest who kept me very amused during the shoot :o)

Just a couple. More to come...
