Day trip to Murasaki Mura
Today Caz and I headed out to Jakkepoes Pancake house in Yomitan for brekkie. Mine consisted of pancakes with chopped bananas, nuts (don't worry, Loub's was at school!), and drizzled with choc syrup. Very yummy. Caz's consisted of french un-bread (made with some Japanese loaves of stuff that was not bread), with raspberry syrup. After we were powered up, we headed to Murasaki Mura, which is like a Ryukyu craft theme park. We walked around, I took a ton of pics. There were all kinds of things to make, but quite pricey. My favs were the shell lamps, indigo fabric dyeing and blown glass. We didn't actually make anything, we were merely scoping it out for when we take the kids eventually and we tell them they can only make 2 things out of 30. Seriously, you could easily drop $1,000 dollars! I will post some photos later, as per usual.
