Today, we headed out to the infamous Kokusai Street in Naha with the Pricherts. At 12pm the mile long road closes to traffic so us mere mortal pedestrians can stroll along in peace and harmony. Here are a group performing some kind of 'hold the pole up' dance, which was pretty fun to watch. Hoards of girls in school uniform (do they have school on Sunday, who knows?) ran alongside the performers. More photos, as per usual, soon.
More news:
1. We are at Typhoon Watch number 3. The info on all the numbers can be found here. Most Okinawans don't think it is going to reach here, however.
2. I plan to hit the gym sometime next week (yes, I know, I have been saying this for the past 2 weeks, but time flies)
3. I should have my own photography website up and running in the coming months if I don't get distracted and turn to procrastination mode. I am getting so much positive feedback about my photos (and have been for a long time), that now is the time, or soon at least!
4. We are heading out to an uninhabited island next weekend, whooo hooo. Do a reverse rain-dance, won't you?
5. We got bikes (yes, interesting news, huh?!)
