Reggie has been staying with us for a while now. For a sixteen year old, that kid has wisdom! He's leaving next week and we will miss him. I will post a few shots tomorrow that I took of him for his sponsor (He's a kickboxer) in the states. I was curious to see how he acquired some of this wisdom and maturity. He said that being around grown ups a lot helped. The discipline of martial arts helped. His crazy parents helped (Hello, Big Reg and V!)
Tonight, we were in Dragon restaurant and I was talking to Reggie about how I like this place, not just because it's across the street, it's just so laid back...
ME: blah, blah, blah...that's what I like about this place, you could come here in your pajamas and noone would give a (said under breath or so I thought) s**t...
APRIL: (AKA Radar Ears) Mummy, you owe me a quarter...
REGGIE: April, that's your Mother, you owe her your life!
And there it was, laid out, the reality, stopped my lovely little daughter in her tracks, I can tell you. Thanks, Reggie!
