What a crazy weekend!
Saturday started off with a BBQ with the Mum's meet up, really mellow and a nice group of women and their families. Ended up at the Torii pool, with the SUPER fast slide. Had a couple of goes myself and almost bounced everyone out of the water with the tidal wave I created upon landing!
Saturday night was Parent's Night Out. Albert had been working all day, so since Caz's hubby was away, we made it a girl's night out. Nothing spectacular, we're not talking gate 2 st here. Just a walk along the sunabe sea wall then off for Thai food. The curry was good, but the so called fish cakes for starters were, shall we say, HORRIBLE!
Sunday. Albert had so nicely volunteered to watch the kids and Caz's Tyler for a couple of hours while we zipped down to the 10,000 Eisa dancers festival (annual Eisa festival). Unfortunately, we didn't do our research and ended up there at 10:30am wondering where everyone was. We were informed it actually started at 3pm. What to do? Well, we weren't going home. So we took a ride on the monorail, then looked around some department store which had an English tea cafe...
Here are our scones, resting on my Oki towel that Reggie had bought me...

A nice flower arrangement...
Let the festivities begin...
