You know when you have a piece of clothing that you just love and you know you could never find again and it can actually make you quite anxious that this piece is about to disintegrate? Well, my item goes along with the lyrics of Run DMC's 'My Adidas'. That's how much they mean to me. That's how far they have been.
My flip flops.
They've seen better days. I got them in (ahem) 2001 from Camp Pendleton PX. They are the most comfortable pair of flip flops I have ever owned. They have traveled far and wide and now I live in flip flop land, I wear them everyday (occasionally swapping out for pink timberland ones)...Now they really are at death's door. From the top they don't look too bad, a little grubby perhaps?
But turn the things over and you see my point.
I have searched high and low for the brand (hello, Google) but cannot find them anywhere. So, people of the world, please sit virtually with me and say a little blessing for my trusty green flipflops that don't have much time left (but I will be wearing them until part of my foot breaks through!)

thats so freakin funny..I did the same thing with a pair of nine west boots I bought in college...an insane number of years later I had to part with them because the water and rocks was coming through the souls! best of luck with finding a replacement..i on the other hand have yet to buy another pair that comes even close to the famous black boots!
