Watermelons

Last week, as we were off to White Beach for the weekend, we stopped at the commissary. Well, it turns out there was a watermelon eating competition going on. Now, how can anyone refuse such a competition when the watermelons are often $15 for ONE! If this is the only way to get a decent piece of watermelon for free, well that's what we'll do. Well, by we, I mean the 2 kids!
Luckily, I have 2 watermelon lovers, so off they went!



They did pretty good, they didn't win (hey, look at the competition) but Loubie, of course, took his watermelon with him afterwards and continued to chomp down on it in the grass! They won a DVD each and the nice lady gave them a $25 gift certificate each. I can buy a few watermelons with that!

Whilst, we are on the subject of food. Here's what I listened to tonight:
