The weather here has certainly cooled down, it has been bright bright sunny days with a nice breeze and getting chilly at night. Reminds me of San Diego actually. Most nights we''ll try and catch the sunset. This night was a beautiful one:
This time I caught Albert jumping into the sunset!
Grandma loves sending the kids (and me) packages. We got all kinds of goodies, like Marks and Spencer chip sticks (salt and vinegar flavour), sweets, books, undies, onion sauce, newspaper snippets, teatowels!!! Today's package contained some gloves that April hasn't taken off. She even wore them to her piano class and I had to make her take them off. Here she is modeling said gloves. Thanks, Mum.
Here's April posing with the Kadena services calender I had mentioned
HERE.
This is my neighbour's copy, she is a teacher and all the teachers got a copy. I haven't even got one yet. So, we were very happy to see it and see my shisa image (on the front cover no less!)
April is puffed up like a blow fish with pride: "Mummy, I told you that you were going to be famous, didn't I?"!!!
Now, where is the 'famous' money, that's what I want to know. LOL
But, seriously, that is so great that I am famous in April's eyes. That's what it's all about, innit?!
Talking of April's eyes. I always like to try and capture them...I really like this shot...
Next, I did a
PhotOkinawa trip to Kokuksai St, it was just
Rey and I but we had fun. Trust me to find a crazy bucketful of mad monkeys!
Loubie and I also a Mummy and Son trip to American Village. Here's a cute one of him with the ferris wheel in the background...I'm telling you, this kid did not stop moving and talking the whole time we were out. Talk about BOY ENERGY! (And yes, he is ACTUALLY having a conversation with Santa about what book he is reading and how he LOVES Junie B Jones and can he please have some for Christmas, please!)
And a BIG FAT Happy Birthday to Harry Dog!...4 years old on the 12th December. We got him when he was 12 weeks old from a rescue group on
Petfinder. We drove up near Los Angeles to meet him and brought him back with us a couple of hours later! He's moved with us, grooved with us and dealt with all the dog prejudices that go along with his breed. He's a good boy, he just needs to do something about that breath of his. Oh, and if he could learn to use the toilet that would be great too!
On a completely different note, if you are looking for 2 great movies to watch, try 'run, fatboy, run' and Tyler Perry's 'Why did I get married'. Bye for now!
