This weeks theme is BW and who would have guessed I would choose this image? As everyone (all 10 or so of you!) who reads this knows (since it's been posted twice in colour and BW and now a third time) it is my fav ever image of April...but I think it is perfectly suited to the BW child faces category, if I may so myself :o). Thank you dear (10 or so) readers for putting up with me!!!
I Heart You!
For anyone else who hasn't seen it...This was taken quite recently on a day outing with a couple of other local photographers. Our kids were the subjects. I had the image in my mind and when I saw this in the viewfinder, I knew I had gotten exactly what I wanted! It is really not set up at all, just 'April, stick this hood on your head' and that was it! Her hair just fell so perfectly for the shot. Lucky me! It was taken with a Nikon D300 and a 50mm 1.8 lens and edited (barely) using Picnik...

OMG! That's an incredible shot you captured. The fury hood adds so much texture and her eyes just POP right out at ya! She's a doll. It sort of looks like a drawing.

Amazing and it would be my favorite too! There is something about the hat and the eyes and the hair all mixed together. It makes the perfect recipe.
