On top of the {Okinawa} world!

Another fun family session...

In a popular Okinawa spot. Loving the colour combos! POP!

I never thought I would use the fisheye so much for client sessions but I love it and the clients love to see themselves on top of the world!

Sisters.

They were perfect models...Taken with the 50mm lens, don't underestimate this workhorse! It's sharp!

As were Mum and Dad enjoying a quiet moment!

Until they all started hanging out like rock stars!

Nothing like saying Okinawa than a fisherman perched on a fence! Again, the fisheye. It's so sharp. I love it!

And as the sun goes down...

you get some lush light...

I love how sessions are kind of like a stroll with friends and each session is different. Thank you Webb Family and Thank You Michelle of Mad Banana Photography for the referral and, of course, your friendship x

I Heart Faces - Best face of the summer

This week on I Heart Faces is a people's choice for the best face of the summer.

This pic of April, my daughter, is my fav. One of the only times I actually brought my Nikon out with me apart from client shoots, I am stuck on the iphone and hipstamatic these days! April started middle school this year. A friend and I went out to chase bugs with our macros and April came along in her Sari. I'm glad she did. She is determined, strong, caring and walks to the beat of her own drum. She's brilliant and I love her so even though we can butt heads every so often LOL

Semper Fi Family

This shoot almost didn't happen due to the crazy weather. But, we went ahead and I'm glad we did because it all worked out! Aren't they gorgeous!

This was a vow renewal/family shoot...

Matt and Mary, proud parents x

C'mon Dad tickle me!

Awwwwwwww...

I like this one in both colour...

and dramatic BW...

Thank You Mary, Matt and the kids, it was a pleasure and I am glad you loved the photos. You did great! We beat the Okinawa weather!

Yeah!

I Heart Faces - A touch of sun

This was taken on a recent shoot I had in Hawaii. I didn't have a shoot planned there, but a very nice lady at the Hale Koa tour place found out I was a photographer and she knew a couple looking for a photographer, it all worked out so great! I really like this image as it was such a fun and spontaneous moment pulling the surfer (when in Hawaii right?!) into the shot and the 'touch of sun' makes it for me! Surf's up, dude! Oh, I miss Hawaii!
I'm looking forward to checking out some of the other entries of this wildly popular blog. There's already about 500 images uploaded!

Everyday I'm shufflin'

So back in June there was a Flash mob by some of my crazy-cool-beautiful friends in Okinawa. It was really cool. I might even have joined in myself had I learnt (isn't that a word? Spell check says no!) the dance moves LOL but I was in London when the practices were going on! But, I took some cool photos of the shufflin' and that's cool with me!

And she came out of nowhere. Let's get this party started, Natsumi!

Don't mess with these too, they will annihilate you! Much respect to Mina and Michelle!

Here goes the super cool Jess!

Oki all day!

Hey, there's one of the Zumba queens, Erna!

How low can you go?

Put your hands up!

Hey, I know you three! The 3 degrees of Oki!
I love her hair!

Some BW action! C'mon!

Fly like a G6!

It's like a rave!

Sunglasses fun!

Colours everywhere, it was like a rainbow x
