There is so much determination, strength, hope and soul in this one tweenagers face. I love it!
I went back and forth between this one a a surfer pic for this BW week...I like a film look for my pics and since I am awful at decisions and esp. when I had 10 mins to do this between getting the kids lunch ready for tomorrow, I just closed my eyes and this gorgeous young lady won out! x

I Heart Faces - On Your Feet

I have a diary/journal that a friend bought me with images by Elliott Erwitt. He has some wonderful black and white dog and human feet images. On a recent session at the end, I tried one out, I like this and my client did too! I Heart Faces - Best face of the summer

This week on I Heart Faces is a people's choice for the best face of the summer.

This pic of April, my daughter, is my fav. One of the only times I actually brought my Nikon out with me apart from client shoots, I am stuck on the iphone and hipstamatic these days! April started middle school this year. A friend and I went out to chase bugs with our macros and April came along in her Sari. I'm glad she did. She is determined, strong, caring and walks to the beat of her own drum. She's brilliant and I love her so even though we can butt heads every so often LOL

Who knew?...

That flies blew bubbles?...I certainly didn't until I saw this geezer early in the summer. I know it's not a pet, who in their right mind would keep a fly as a pet, even a cool bubble blowing one, but it is an animal! I was going to post a pic of my dog, but he was in 'pets' a while back and this fly is pretty cool with his super bug eyes too! More happy pet photos at I Heart Faces!

I Heart Faces - iphone photography

Taken with hipstamatic (my fave app). I have other face ones I actually prefer - somewhere - but this one was on hand and still a face and I love orange! OK, that's all running out the door now, gotta make sure I don't forget the iphone! LOL
