Family by the sea

It was a while ago that I did this shoot. When you have PCSing families, it can suck the time out of everything, including choosing images, but I am glad this family now have some lasting memories of their last days in Okinawa!
The handsome Mr. A! The first words out of his mouth when I said 'are you ready for photos' were 'no!' (well kids are honest LOL) But, I gave him a while to warm up to me and we had a little chat about some ants and a goose and voila!...
It was an overcast day but of course the East china Sea was still giving off those blue hues!
and some splashes to add!
Thank you Jessica, Trevr and A, I had a great time working with you!
Good luck in your new home in California! Thank you Amanda Webb of Footsteps Photography for the referral. It is always great to get a referral from a fellow photographer. In this case, Jessica had looked at 11 photographers and then asked 3 friends who were photographers on island who she should go with and 2 said me without any prompting from her that she had been to my site! That's a great feeling! So, thanks to the other two too! I appreciate that! If you are in the UK, please look Footsteps up! x

Chasing toddlers :)

Who needs the gym when you have 2 kids to entertain and chase around?

Well, I did actually have April (my Daughter) with me to help with the bubble blowing...that's a tough job! That and chasing 2 yr old Mini-the-Minxes!!!

But she was so sweet...

and butter wouldn't melt...

would it?!!!

Tee Hee...

Look at this little man. Reminded me of Loubie (my Son, Lewis) when he was a toddler!

Cute!

A quick shot of Mum and Son before we went on our merry way!

Thank you Mimi, I had a great time hanging out, I know the kids had a good nap and I hope you got one too! x

Skipping through the trees...

Oh My, was the Griffin Family fun to shoot! We skipped our way through Murasaki Mura...
Stopping for some swinging, of course!
and hanging out like rockstars!...
I got some couple shots with Brian and Mindy before he left for a good few mths...
Deployments are pretty much a way of life out here...So you've gotta have some laughs!
The girls were top models for me...
Gotta love the Oki red background!
Some more family shots with some traditional Oki backgrounds...
Love...
Brian's Mum and Bruv were in town so I got a quick shot of them all together!
I got lots more for the Griffin Family's memories. Thank you so much! It was Brill and I am so happy you loved your images x

Delaney Family and the collapsible tree!

Of course I was thrilled when Michelle of Mad Banana Photography wanted to hire me to take her family photos! Not only because she is super cool and a great friend of mine but also her family is too x

The girls...

Happy smiley people! God only knows what I was saying, some jibberjabber no doubt LOL

I love this in BW

Lots of laughter on the beach!

I love the 'caves'

LOL I love this one, it was so windy and the tree kept collapsing but I like the flare! I think it's bloody brilliant!

So we were looking for a particular spot that Michelle had driven past many times, it had disappeared but I love this little spot, it's just so Okinawa!

Thank you Delaney family. It was so much fun. Thank you for being the rockstar you are, Michelle and thank you for valuing me and believing in my photography x I'll leave you with sunset time! I played around with some texture here! LOVE!

PS: if you want some bedroom boudoir, just contact Michelle of Mad Banana Photography, she's Okinawa's Premier Boudoir Photographer! x
