My beautiful Laundrette and Streets of Okinawa - Okinawa Family Photographer
When Ashley first contacted me via FB she had been looking at my work since before moving to Okinawa last June! She wanted me to shoot her family and her daughter was turning 4 too!
When the words eclectic, urban, etc were brought up, I had a good feeling!
We were originally looking to shoot in American Village or somewhere but when Ashley saw my tattoo ladies shoot at the Laundromat and the vicinity she said that was where she knew she wanted to shoot!
That's when I knew this was going to ROCK!
We went all over the area , back to the flag, of course!

It was great because I had my daughter on the shoot with me so she could watch Miss. A. while I did some couple shots! PS: She is CPR and First Aid certified if you need a babysitter in the Foster/Chatan/Hamby/Kitamae area! She is really GREAT with kids! :)

There was also a VERY HEAVY 5 minute downpour that we had to take cover for. So, we sat in the car and looked at the satellite and knew it was passing!
Which made us happy because this shoot had already been rescheduled about 3 times! And we can't have that! No, no, no!
Absolutely loved this shoot! It was all so spontaneous and fast paced but chilled at the same time! Thank you Ashley, Justin and A! x

Pamela!!! I am SO stoked that randomly surfing the internet late at night in a laboratory brought me to a goldmine of amazing images! You have THE eye for this & we are beyond blessed that we could become a fixture in your art, and can now have such beautiful reminders of Oki on the walls of our home! Its rare that you meet a solid person, someone super laidback that also happens to possess a talent as sick as yours!! Thank you again! Your daughter was the apple of Adi's eye that day- she really is good with the little folks!! Sad to see you leaving the island in a few short months, but hooray for your future locations- somewhere as we speak some person who appreciates a good photo is bringing up your page and learning your name!!!
LOVE! Did you see they painted over the blue 'rock' building?? It's now a boring brown :( Great session and really does capture 'Okinawa'!
