weekend bliss

Yesterday we went on a day trip to ikei island. The views were magnificent as we drove along the beach roads. I have posted a few of the pics on flickr. One of these days i might find the time to print some and put them in a photo album!

Today, was relaxing. We took the dog along the beach and then went to eat breakfast in a cool new cafe called Caracalla. Next, April and I went onto foster base to look around a bazaar they had going on. Beautiful furniture and wares to look at. There was some amazing artistic talent there...a few photographers and some great artists. The highlight of the day was April and I winning some Ryukyu glass in a 'drop the ball in the glass type' game.

There was some great art from Chrisse Harwanko. I bought a beautiful flower print from Suwanee (a very talented photographer) and a smaller Buddha Hand print from another photographer, Nichole Gonzalez, whom I first heard of today. Maybe I could do a bazaar in a year or 2. I remember my jewelry and candle making days at Camden Market. It was that kind of scene.
