American Village

Loub's school has a really nice view from the top floor. This is 'American Village'. We live about a 20 min walk from here. No, I haven't been on the wheel yet, and those that know me, probably know I may never. One word. Vertigo!

There are loads of shops, restaurants, performers (it seems most nights: Sat - fire eater/magician, Sun - dancers, Mon - Reggae band). There is a real London bus, I think number 71, ending at Liverpool St., it is a restaurant and we ate there the other night, I kept looking in the stairwell mirror, expecting Chris John's head to pop up, or my mum's!

There is a beach called, Sunset Beach (roped off so you don't end up in the ER with a jellyfish sting, they are hardcore here, no messing!). Plus, there is a Spa/pool place called Chula-U, which has Dr. Fish - basically you soak your feet and let the fish do the cleaning. You know I am going there next week! Then, there is the free foot spa, where the water is really hot from a natural underground spring and it's right there in the street for all and sundry, who-hoo!
