Okinawa Hai (the cool blog/website for people living here) had a competition recently for photographs for a 2009 calender. This is one of my photos that was chosen to be included. HAI!
This was taken while out with Rene at Gate 2 street a while back. You can see some more of the submissions and buy it HERE. I also have 2 more photos in the calender - Some cats on jacks and an eisa drum.
Whilst we're on the subject of calenders, The Marketing Director of Kadena Services recently contacted me to use one of my shisa images for their 2009 calender. So, look out for that, I think around the end of the month. I believe it is FREE!
I think I forgot to mention here too, that some of my photos are up on the wall of Cafe Caracalla now until Nov 30th. Please stop by (if in Okinawa!) and take a peek, have some yummy pancakes and sign my guest book. I would love and appreciate it!

I remember seeing that picture on your blog a month or so ago and thinking how cool it was that you could take something simple and make it look like a piece of art. Congratulations on all your publishings, pretty cool!
I'm going to try to make it to Cafe Caracalla this weekend to check out your pictures and eat some yummy foods.
LOL...yeah, I tried submitting a few photos for the calendar when they called and asked...but alas, none were just right for it. I told you I suck at taking pictures of THINGS! LOL
Can't wait to get the calendar so I can say, "Hey! My friend Pamela took those pictures!!"

Marisa: Thanks, hope you got to Caracalla, my photos are down now but the pancakes are still there.
